PRIVACY POLICY
What information do we collect?
As far as anonymous browsing goes, we track IP addresses, mostly for the purpose of managing users who choose to abuse the site. When you choose to register as a user, we will collect your email address as a means of managing users who might be continually banned
and register new accounts. We will never sell this information to any other third party, and everything is strictly confidential. We're geeks, too, and are as concerned with our own privacy as you are with yours. All information we collect is strictly for administrative purposes.
What do you do to protect my information?
We are hosted by a professional webhosting service that offers full system security maintaince, and who runs top-of-the-line secure software.
All passwords are encrypted with one-way, non-decryptable hashes, meaning that in the event of a database break-in, your password is safe, and
completely non-recoverable.
Do you send out spam, or any other kind of email-based advertising?
Nope, and we never will. We hate spam as much as you do, and will never bombard you with unsolicited email.
What do you use cookies for? Do I need to accept them?
We use cookies for two distinct purposes. First, we store your "session ID" in a cookie on your machine (if you have cookies enabled) so that
we can keep you logged in as you travel the site. This cookie will expire when the browser is closed. Second, if you check the "remember me" checkbox, we will set a cookie that will allow you to
be automatically logged back into the site if you come back at a later time. This cookie will expire after one year. You don't need to accept cookies in order to use the
site, but we have them available for your convenience.
